Lorren Hammond is the owner and founder of LLHammond. Since childhood, Hammond has been drawn toward craftsmanship. He spent his teenage years working with his father, learning how to fix various machinery and spending weekends in the wood shop. Hammond began working in building construction when he graduated high school, continuing to hone his skills. Hammond began taking on projects of increasingly greater difficulty until he founded LLHammond in 1995. Hammond’s ability to build his own machines to fit his needs, and work within the pinnacle of geometric accuracy, allows him to design and fabricate art that sets him apart from his competitors. So much so that he was awarded a spot on the list of Best Furniture Makers and Best Box Makers in the United States all 3 years that he entered the competition. His work now ranges from large-scale contracting and interior design to jewelry boxes with the finest detail.
